1-800-PetMeds® Donates Flea & Tick Preventative and Other Supplies to Cats in Need!
1-800-PetMeds® donates pet products to help care for homeless cats in February.
Every month 1-800-PetMeds® donates products to animals in need with the donations going to animal shelters, fundraising events, and even foster homes.
This month PetMeds® donated their exclusive flea and tick preventative Flea3X for Cats™, along with PetMeds® brand Joint Enhancer for Cats, Ear Cleansing Solution, Super Pure Omega 3, and Max’s Super Dental Wipes to Delmarva Cat Connection in Ocean Pines, Maryland.
“It is really moving to be able to assist these selfless, hardworking people in their pursuit to educate their community, and help pets in need. When we can help people educate others on how to treat pets and care for animals in a healthy way, it is very rewarding.” - Said Dana Baca, PetMeds® Donations Coordinator
Delmarva Cat Connection is a private, non-profit, all volunteer organization that dedicates their time educating the public, promoting awareness, and helping to arrange for the adoption of stray cats.
“As a small group we work very hard to support ourselves by making crafts, etc. and appearing anywhere we can to aid in increasing the interest of spay and neutering. PetMeds' donation will enable us to direct more help to the homeless and unwanted cat population in our area. Thank you many times over.” – Said Mary Jane Mason, President of Delmarva Cat Connection.
1-800-PetMeds® will continue to help homeless animals in need every month and they want their customers to help determine who needs support. If you know of a pet shelter or rescue organization in need, visit the1-800-PetMeds® Charitable Causes page and suggest a shelter in need. In addition, the company encourages everyone to read about featured animal shelters that are giving back in their community, and the complete list of shelters that have received donations.
